Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) hosted the latest installment of the Records Management Network (RMN) forum on Wednesday 30 May 2018. The event featured presentations from across Victorian Government, focusing on records management innovations and improvements, predominately in the digital sphere.
The presenters
The Ombudsman, Deborah Glass, spoke on the role that public records play in enabling proper investigation, and where incomplete, unreliable or missing records can frustrate them.
Helen Anstis, Executive Director Corporate at Service Victoria, set out the agile and paperless philosophy that has guided the establishment and management of this new agency.
Alan Kong’s presentation (Manager Corporate Records at Western Health) addressed some of the challenges in building relationships across a large distributed organisation and getting buy-in for key initiatives.
Ruth Edge, Corporate Information Team Leader at Cardinia Shire, took the audience through Cardinia’s journey towards end-to-end digital recordkeeping. View the presentation slides here.
