VPRS 4968 Consignment P0 Unit 2 Item 3 Record 1 Document: Kelly Reward Board Declaration form
circa. 1881
Overview
A few weeks after the siege at Glenrowan, the Kelly Reward Board was established as a means of distributing the Kelly reward money. An advertisement was placed in the newspapers for claimants involved in the destruction of the Kelly Gang to come forth and lodge a claim. The left-hand side of the Declaration Form was signed by a member of the Board, whilst on the right-hand side of the form, both the claimant and their witness signed the declaration form to be reviewed by the Board.
