The PROV Appraisal and Documentation Team invites stakeholders to review a new draft Retention and Disposal Authority for Records the Energy Safety Function.

The aim of the Retention and Disposal Authority (RDA), once issued as a Standard, is to specify records required as State Archives and to provide for the lawful disposal of records not required permanently after specified periods.

About this draft RDA

This RDA has been developed in consultation with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV). ESV is Victoria’s energy safety regulator, responsible for electricity, gas and pipelines safety.

The RDA is to provide coverage for records of the function of energy safety and is arranged by the following broad functions:
•    Program Development and Management
•    Regulation Management
•    Electrical Worker Registration and Licensing Management
•    Compliance Management.
