The PROV Appraisal and Documentation Team invites stakeholders to review a new draft Retention and Disposal Authority for Records of Victorian Managed Insurance Authority.

The aim of the RDA, once issued as a Standard, is to specify records required as State Archives and to provide for the lawful disposal of records not required permanently after specified periods.


About this draft RDA

This Retention and Disposal Authority has been developed in consultation with the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA).  It is to provide coverage for records created as part of the insurance and risk management functions.

The RDA is arranged by broad functions. The functions are:

  • Insurance Management
  • Claims Management
  • Risk Management.
