One Place, Many Stories is a free online resource designed for the middle to upper primary years as a way of engaging students in the history of Victoria, Australia and beyond. It is a rich, cross curricular resource, which can be used in a variety of learning contexts. This resource enables the layering of historical maps and plans over Google Maps and allows students to pin their own stories, images and research to the maps.
This section will support teachers to use the One Place, Many Stories site. This section also contains advice for students to seek help for themselves to create stories on this site. Ideas for learning activities and relevance to the AusVELS curriculum are also included.
