Please note, from this index, you must note the PRO Storage Number and the PRO Box Number.  The PRO Box Number is equivalent to the VPRS number (28), the consignment number (e.g. P5), and the unit number (e.g. 619).  The PRO Storage Number is the 6 or 7 digit number which is the item number within our collection.  This number must be translated for example from 703225 to 703/225 with the forward slash immediately before the last 3 digits.  NOTE: from 1994 onwards, the slash is not required (e.g. 703225).
