About these records

This series consists of police documentation, correspondence, details of claims made to the Kelly Reward Board, and papers in relation to the Kelly trial. The series also contains police reports of overall conduct, behaviour, and methods, and minutes of evidence given before the Royal Commission on the Police Force. From folder 91 onwards in box 3 and all of box 4, the records are concerned with Captain Moonlite's (A.G. Scott) robbery of the London chartered Bank at Egerton.
