PROS 19/05 Create, Capture and Control Standard sets out the principles and requirements that Victorian public offices must comply with in relation to the creation, capture and control of records. It includes Victorian Electronic Records Strategy (VERS) requirements for the long-term preservation of digital records.

This Standard is comprised of the following areas:

  • Control

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples should be aware the collection and website may contain images, voices and names of deceased persons.

Material in the Public Record Office Victoria archival collection contains words and descriptions that reflect attitudes and government policies at different times which may be insensitive and upsetting.
