PROV is currently undertaking a review of PROS 19/06 Access Standard, in line with the continuous review program of the Standards Framework.

The Access Standard relates to all Victorian public offices, providing requirements around ensuring records are accessible for the period of time they must be retained and that access is not restricted, unless required by legislation, regulation or policy.

An initial round of consultation has been completed and we are now seeking stakeholder feedback on this Standard.

Please use this Feedback Form for any comments you have, and then email directly to Alison McNulty, Senior Manager of Standards and Policy - alison.mcnulty@prov.vic.gov.au

Feedback is due by Friday 20 February 2026.

Material in the Public Record Office Victoria archival collection contains words and descriptions that reflect attitudes and government policies at different times which may be insensitive and upsetting
